I apologize for not writing – it’s been a crazy schedule the last 8 weeks.  We are home now for a few days, just in time for the big snow storm that seems to have been chasing us across the country for a few days.  Well, it arrived last night.  Thankfully, it’s warm enough that it won’t last long!

Where have I been?  After the Lexington Opera House, we made our way to Decatur, IL.  We were performing at the Kirkland Center for the Arts but I also had the chance to work with some amazing people there at Macon Resources.  I conducted two workshops there for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  Afterwards, I worked with a group of children mostly of whom were on the autism spectrum.

After Decatur, we made our way to Huntsville, AL.  This would be our second time to work with the folks at Merrimack Hall.  One of the great privileges of my job is the opportunity that I have to spend some time with incredible kids.  In Huntsville, I was able to do that with some special kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Merrimack Hall also made arrangements for all of us to have a private tour of the Space and Rocket Museum (Space Camp) in Huntsville.  It was an out-of-this-world experience!

I’m still working on the BAG OF TRICKS documentary.  And it’s starting to come together well.  If you would like to see the first rough edit of an interview with Trent, one of the “stars” of the film, you can check it out here.
