Nolan and I have been in Louisville, KY the last few days. I had a great time, had a few meetings, booked a few shows for next season, and got to see some of my friends. We were staying downtown and the Hyatt was kind enough to arrange for us to park the rig outside the hotel – great advertising!
Our last day in Louisville, we decided to visit Churchill Downs, the horse track where the Kentucky Derby is held each year. It’s a very cool place filled with exhibits, interactive displays, and museum items. Definitely worth the trip!
And this morning, we pulled out of Louisville to head toward our next performance at the George Daily Auditorium in Oskaloosa, IA. Cindy and Keith will be flying into Des Moines to meet up with us. Then it gets a little crazy. I’ll be driving a rental car to Sioux City for a Healing of Magic workshop at St. Luke’s Hospital and the returning to Oskaloosa that evening. Thursday is the show at George Daily and then we’ll head back to Sioux City for the performance at the Orpheum Theatre there. It’s going to be a busy week!!
