The show at the Chipola College Theatre was very well received.  It was a more difficult day that we had expected, starting with trying to back the rig into a congested, narrow loading dock.  That was the first miracle of the day!

Once inside, Cindy and David did a great job of finding space for all the illusions.  We worked hard – fast and furious – all day hanging the light plot, patching the light board, hanging the intelligent lighting, setting up illusions and sound, etc.  We worked almost up to showtime.  It was a long day and the show hadn’t even started yet.

The audience arrived and it was mostly a sold out performance.  They were excited because our show was not the typical offering in their series.  As the light show kicked in, you could hear the chatter in the house.  By intermission, they were with us and by the end of the show, many of them were on their feet.

I attended a reception afterwards and had the chance to spend some time with many of the audience members.  Their feedback was overwhelming.

We left Florida on Tuesday morning to head toward the next segment of our tour in Michigan and Minnesota.  It’s COLD – and getting colder!!
