The week has been a bit of a whirlwind.  Keith and I flew back from New York City on Tuesday.  Once we arrived in Lynchburg, we drove immediately to pick up the truck/trailer and get it to the warehouse.  Cindy and Ethan had been working over the weekend to get illusions ready for the Spring tour and receiving a couple of new illusions and cases that were coming in while we were in NYC.

Once we picked up the truck, I dropped Keith at his apartment so he could start packing.  We would be leaving on tour in just a few hours.  I drove home, dropped my suitcases, started washing some clothes, picked up Cindy, and we drove to the warehouse where we would meet Ethan.  We got the trailer loaded and finished up by 8pm.  In about 12 hours, we would be back on the road for the Spring 2009 tour.

ON THE ROAD

The weather is changing rapidly across the Midwest.  Some of the coldest temperatures in a decade are moving across the states.  We arrived in Van Wert, OH in the late afternoon and it was COLD!

We will be here for a few days.  Tonight, as we loaded into the hotel, Cindy and Ethan posed for a “cold picture.”

Tomorrow, I have two workshops at the Thomas Edison School with teachers and students.  We’ll be working with the Hocus Focus project with them.  In the afternoon, Ethan and I will head over to Vancrest to work with some of the residents there with the Healing of Magic project.

The show on Saturday will be at the Niswonger Center for the Arts in Van Wert.  We’ll be starting their Spring season and tickets have been selling well.  We’re hoping for a full house!  If you’re in the area, check out the show.  You can buy tickets online.

And we’re getting some great publicity for our upcoming show at Shyrock Auditorium in Carbondale, IL on January 24.  We made the cover of the entertainment newspaper today.
