I have been looking forward to this show for several weeks. We had a full house – sold out three weeks ago with a waiting list of over 250 people to buy tickets. And the audience was simply amazing! They were a wonderful and appreciative crowd who showed they were there to have some fun from the very first illusion. We had great volunteers and the audience response was powerful.

The day started off on a good note with a crew that was friendly and professional. We had a few bumps throughout the day – our intelligent lighting board went dead…and then the backup board wouldn’t work either. Thanks to the connections of the TD, it was off to be repaired and was done by 4pm. And then the board that operates the two DMX hazers decided to stop working as well BUT kicked back up again within minutes. We thought it was going to be a day of Murphy’s Law. In the end, the show was up and ready to go by 5:30pm – plenty of time to spare.

Keith’s family was at the show tonight – Mom Sue, Dad Wayne, Brother David, and Grandpa. It was good to see them and glad that Keith was able to spend some time with them after the show.

Tomorrow, we’re off to Red Bank!
