What a change in temps this morning! We arrived in Amarillo to sunny, warm weather and woke up to freezing winds and cold temperatures. That’s not uncommon for West Texas but I don’t think we were prepared for it.
We also remembered this morning that we would go through two times changes today. We’re in Central Time now (8:30am) but once we get to New Mexico we will drop back an hour (7:30am) and then to Arizona another hour (6:30am). That will help since this is a longer day for us on the road.
We’ll we’re out of here and back on – what road again are we traveling? – oh yes, Interstate 40 WEST. We’ve been on this interstate now for our fourth day!
